Verbena comes in a wide variety of colors, and performs well in pots and in the ground. They prefer consistently moist (not wet) soil, but are quite resilient if you forget to water them on occasion. Most varieties are trailing/mounding, but differ in their vigor (rate of growth). A few new varieties have a more upright habit, which will be stated on the tags. They will look different in the pot.

  • Typically, up to 6-12” H x 18-30” W depending on vigor

  • Lots of color choices, in solids and bi-color

  • Perform best in ground or large container. Baskets dry out fast.

  • Perform best with regular feeding

  • Though free-flowering, they flower more if deadheaded occasionally

  • Easily trimmable if they get overgrown or suffer severe drying-out.. Just cut them back with scissors.
