Vinca

If you are looking for a plant who loves the heat & humidity then Cora Vinca from Syngenta Flowers is for you!.jpg

Vinca, which looks very similar in size and flower to shade-loving impatiens, is a must for those who want a full-sun, little-to-no-maintenance annual that they can plant and forget. Think of them as impatiens for the sun.

  • Performs best if planted in mid-May or later. It does NOT like cold and wet

  • Most are short, upright (10-12”), but trailing varieties are available

  • The BEST for heat and drought tolerance!

  • Lots of colors and mixes to choose from.

  • No deadheading or pinching required

  • Blooms non-stop until nights get too cool in late fall

  • Does not require a lot of water or fertilizer. Too wet is worse than too dry
